After finishing my bilingual Matura, I took time to travel, to see how people live elsewhere and to find out what I actually want to do. The answer, at least for now, is law: I am studying for a Bachelor of Law at the University of Bern, and over the next few years I will find out whether I end up practising it.
Work that taught me things
Alongside school and studies I have worked in restaurants and bars, in logistics, as a substitute teacher and as a youth volleyball coach. These jobs taught me to take responsibility, to work on my own and to keep a cool head when things get busy. Studying, working and travelling at the same time made me more independent and adaptable.
Languages
I grew up with German, French and Italian, and I speak English fluently. Switching between languages every day is completely normal for me, and it often makes it easier to understand where people are coming from.
Outside of work and studies
- Sport. I am very active and like trying out new sports, but surfing is my favourite. Whenever I can, I go looking for waves.
- Travel. Two years on the road, including a stint in Sydney. The travel map shows where I have been.
- People. I enjoy meeting new people and working in teams with different backgrounds.
Challenges motivate me and I learn quickly. If you would like to talk, get in touch.
